Picnicking is not allowed in the gardens, only at certain dedicated locations in the Park.

Sorbets Kiosk - Grand Canal
Open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 1pm to 6pm (depending on weather conditions).
organic sorbets and jams are sold on the avenues of the park, at the south end of the Grand Canal.

Fresh Orange Juice Kiosk - Petit Trianon
There are a number of mobile kiosks serving freshly-squeezed orange juice along the avenues in the park.
Tuesday to Sunday from 1pm to 6pm (depending on weather conditions).

Angelina: Terrace And Take Away
Open from 12pm to 6pm
At the Petit Trianon there is an Angelina food stand for a sweet or savoury gourmet break during your walk through the Park. The stand is open from tuesday to sunday from 12 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Angelina terrace offers sweet and savoury food to eat in or take away: hot chocolate, cakes, salads, sandwiches and cold drinks. Located within the Petit Trianon and accessible without a ticket, the terrace is open every day except Monday, from midday to 6pm in high season (April 15 to October) and from midday to 5:30pm in low season (November to April 15).

The Restaurant La Petite Venise
La Petite Venise offers refined Italian cooking in a bucolic setting at the heart of the Versailles park. It also caters for groups (50 pers. max). The restaurant is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11:45 am to 6 pm. It is closed from Monday to Thursday and exceptionally on Friday June 11th.

La Petite Venise Terraces
Punto de venta de comida para llevar de inspiración italiana, con terraza junto al Gran Canal. En temporada alta (de abril a octubre) abre de 10:30 a 18:30. The terrace is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.30am to 6pm. It is closed on Mondays.

La Flottille Restaurant
This brasserie-restaurant on the edge of the Grand Canal offers traditional French food in c.1900 setting (set menus and à la carte dining). La Flottille also caters for groups (200 pers. max). The restaurant and terrace are open daily from 8am to 8pm.Reservations: +33 (0)1 39 51 41 58

Versailles Gardens Boutique
The Gardens Boutique offers numerous collections of books, souvenirs and gifts based around the theme of the gardens or Marie-Antoinette. Open every day except Monday from :
Open from 10:30 to 12:30 and from 13:15 to 17:30 from Tuesday to Friday.
Weekends, public holidays, school holidays (zone C): 10:00-12:30 and 13:15-17:30 (until March 31 2023)

La Flottille Takeaway
La Flottille has a wide range of takeaway items (sandwiches, salads, pankakes, drinks...). Currently open all week, from 8am to 8 pm. Go to the restaurant La Flottille.
Usually open daily from 8:30am to 6pm during high season (April to October) and from 9am to 5pm during low season (November to March).

Where are the toilets?
Toilets are available in the Park.
You can also use the toilets at the Grand Trianon and the Petit Trianon without needing a ticket.
Toilets - Little Venice
There are free toilets with disabled access near the entrance to la Petite Venise.
In case of emergency, a defibrillator is available for public use. It is fully automatic and does not require any prior training.

Toilets - Grand Canal
Paying toilets (€0.50) are located right next to the La Flotille restaurant, on the Queen's Walk.
These toilets are not accessible to the disabled.

Toilets - Grand Trianon
There are free toilets with disabled access in front of the Grand Trianon, inside the Chemin Creux pavilion. Free toilets are located outside the Grand Trianon.
